Taking a break. Officially.

I'm sure anyone who still checks this knows by this point that it's been a long long time since I've updated.

In all honesty it's not that I'm too busy, or even too lazy... I just don't know what to write about lately and that's kind of a problem.

So, officially, I'm going to take a break from updating the blog for a while. Until I find the inspiration again, that is.

For people who have questions feel free to email me, I'll help however I can. And if I don't get back to you just send me a reminder, sometimes I'll open up an email and read it then decide I'll get to it later. Speaking of I have two of those to get to right now.

So yeah, that's that. Hopefully I'll get back to this soon. Thanks for reading and if you want to know when/if I start updating again shoot me an email and I'll keep you posted.

Adam.

I leave for basic Feb 24 2008. I could not sleep at all tonight so, as always, I googled things. Thats how I stumbled apon your blog. I read your "From Civilian to Sailor" blog and scanned through "Chaper 2." I have been fascinated with mass communications for the past four years in high school. Its the only job I wanted joining the Navy; if I wasn't offered it, I wasn't joining. Luckily I got it! I have been waiting 10 months in DEP! With so much time to think, I have had countless second thoughts. Especially, with it getting close to my time to leave. Your blog made me feel better about bootcamp. I know bootcamp is mainly mental and not so much physical, which makes me feel decent. However, I am not athletic so I have been worried and working out. Your blog abotu your pt made me feel like were on the same level and if you did it I can! I take my IFA Thursday. I might never hear back from you before I leave, considering your "blog break," but I just thought I'd let you know I read your blog. You can email me back if you would like I don't really use blogger. SeeMoGo@aol.com

Hi Adam. Thank you for putting your experiences out there for others to read. It really does help one prepare. I also will be an MC and am awaiting my ship out day which will be December 15. I'm nervous, I know it's going to be cold.

I hope you return to us soon. It's wonderful to read your posts, maybe I will see you out there :)

Take care and God Bless.

Hey Adam,
I found your posts, and totally enjoy reading them. I absolutely cannot wait til you resume writing.
Thanks for all the info. I have only heard from my son once since he left for boot camp on Oct. 1, 2009. His PIR is 11/25/2009. and I am still trying to decide if I will attend or not. Right now it is leaning to the NOT.
Hoping all is well with you.
